# Keydiye privacy policy

This policy explains what information the Keydiye app (“Keydiye”, “the app”), made
by BitBirr Technology Solutions, collects and how it is used. In short: your records
stay on your phone unless you choose to use the cloud, we have no ads, and we never
sell your data.

## Data stored on your phone

Everything you enter in Keydiye (transactions, customers, suppliers, items, accounts,
notes, settings) is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. It is not
sent to us unless you sign in to a cloud account. Your PIN is stored as a secure
hash in the device keystore.

## Contacts

If you choose **Import from contacts**, the app reads names and phone numbers from
your phone’s contacts so you can pick which ones to add as customers or suppliers.
Only the contacts you select are saved, and only in the app on your phone (and in
your cloud account if you use one). We do not upload your address book.

## Optional cloud account

If you create a cloud account, we process:

 * Your name, phone number or email address, business name and a hashed password
 * Your Keydiye records, to sync them between your devices and keep cloud backups
 * Session details for security: device model and type, operating system, app version,
   IP address and approximate country and city derived from the IP address, and 
   last activity time. You can see and sign out these sessions in the app.

## Feedback and support

When you send feedback, we receive the message, rating, category, the contact detail
you give, your app version and device type. It is delivered to our team by email
and Telegram so we can reply.

## Payments

If you upgrade to Pro, you pay through the payment method shown to you. We record
the plan, the payment reference you submit and its status. We do not receive your
mobile-money PIN or card details.

## Permissions

 * Contacts: to import customers and suppliers when you ask
 * Biometrics: to unlock the app with your fingerprint or face, handled by your 
   device; we never receive biometric data
 * Notifications: to show payment and due-date reminders you schedule
 * Internet: only for cloud sync, backup, feedback and opening reminder links

## How we protect data

Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Cloud sessions are bound to the device 
they were issued to. Backup files you export are encrypted with AES-256. Access 
to our servers is restricted to authorised staff.

## Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. We use service providers to run
the cloud service (hosting and database), to deliver feedback messages (email and
Telegram), and to look up the approximate location of an IP address for the sessions
list. They process data only for these purposes.

## Retention and deletion

Local data stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud data
is kept while your account is active. When you delete your cloud account, your synced
records and cloud backups are deleted immediately, all sessions are signed out and

## Children

Keydiye is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

## Changes

We will update this page when the app changes how it handles data, and show the 
date at the top.
