# Delete your Keydiye account

You can delete your Keydiye cloud account and its data at any time.

## Delete in the app

 * Open Keydiye and go to **More**
 * Tap your **Cloud account**
 * Tap **Delete cloud account** and confirm with your password

## Delete by request

If you no longer have the app, send a message from the phone number or email address
on your account to [info@bitbirr.nl](https://bitbirr.nl/keydiye/delete-account/info@bitbirr.nl)
or WhatsApp [+251 927 802 065](https://wa.me/251927802065?text=Please%20delete%20my%20Keydiye%20account)
with the subject “Delete my Keydiye account”. We will confirm the request and delete
the account within 7 days.

## What is deleted

 * All records synced to the cloud
 * All cloud backups
 * All signed-in sessions
 * Your name, email, phone number, business name and password are removed from your
   profile

## What may be kept

Records of Pro payments may be kept for up to the period required by Ethiopian tax
and accounting law, without being linked to your app data. Data on your phone is
not affected: uninstall the app or use **Backup & restore** to manage it.
